LOBO was very happy to be invited by fable.works agency to work on this campaign for WhatIF Foods. We got to know all about the amazing Bambara Groundnut (or BamNut for short), a regenerative crop known as a "complete food" by the farming communities in West Africa, where it originates. It is a resilient legume with the ability to grow in poor soil conditions and arid climates, without needing fertilizers or pesticides. It can also hold nitrogen in the soil and leave long roots in the ground, which contributes to soil restoration.This campaign introduces WhatIF Foods’ BamNut Milk, with a series of playful and provocative films that illustrate how it’s not just a better option for our health or the environment, but also for farmers, cows, dinosaurs, zombies and aliens. Directed by Diogo Kalil and Mateus de Paula Santos, the spots were all done in 2D animation, featuring stylized, charming characters, bold titles and clever transitions that joyfully deliver the message that BamNut Milk is a “better better”.
