Paulinho Caruso

Paulinho Caruso was born in São Paulo in 1983. Son of cartoonist Paulo Caruso, he grew up surrounded by comic books, strips, cartoons and animated drawings, where aliens, superheroes and fantastic characters mixed with the political sarcasm of the caricatures.In addition to being a screenwriter, he has over fifteen years of experience as a director at O 2 Filmes, Fernando Meirelles' production company. In his career, he has directed dozens of music videos, over 200 commercials, episodes for Netflix series (Brotherhood), HBO (Valley of the Forgotten), and Globo (The Experienced Ones), award-winning short films, and the feature film starring Tata Werneck entitled "TOC: Transtornada, Obsessiva e Compulsiva" (OCD: Disordered, Obsessive and Compulsive), selected for SXSW 2018.
