Lu Villaça is a Brazilian film director, with a degree in cinema, performing arts and a postgraduate degree in screenwriting. A dancer and theater student throughout her childhood and adolescence, the need for expression and the arts have always been inherent to her existence. Not afraid to explore other ways to provoke people’s feelings and test the bounderies of human reactions through audiovisual, Lu believes in all forms of communication and sees advertising as a great platform for the distribution of ideas, powerful and transformative if used with social responsibility. With award-winning projects in advertising, short films and music videos, now the desire is to create films to brands that want to speak beyond their products and leave a legacy. At the same time, Lu is in development of her first feature film.
