Volvo Group is one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world, and has positioned itself as an innovative and technological company.CREATIVE CHALLENGEThe company has the principle of innovating, and briefed us about the purpose of disruptively launching the new Volvo S60. Even with the low number of dealers in Brazil, the idea was to take the S60 throughout the country, using technology. To this end, Volvo Car Brasil has proposed to put a car realistic enough to serve as a product site in a browser, as proof of concept, within an entire system that simulated a virtual store, containing: seller, the possibility of customization of the car, test drive scheduling, chat with an expert seller and financing simulations.ISSUE DETECTEDMaintaining the quality of 3D art and tracking using WebAR technology.DEVELOPMENTIn addition to all the technical development, we managed to find a way between the customer’s initial roadmap and technological viability, maintaining the proposal of a striking and complete experience.RESULTVolvo has greatly increased the breadth of experience users, as no apps need to be downloaded to enable this super-refined WebAR. While on the one hand the biggest challenge was to develop a solution that would guarantee the high processing performance of the app without losing 3D visual quality and tracking accuracy, on the other we found the possibility of maintenance and updating at any time, in real time.
